    Lake McQueeney
    Lake McQueeney is a man-made reservoir containing water coming from the Guadalupe River and is located between New Braunfels and Seguin. Recreational activities are welcome on this lake, including fishing, boating, tubing and water skiing, however there are regulations concerning wakes.

    Canyon Lake

    Located in Texas' Hill Country, Canyon Lake welcomes people to use its water for water skiing, sailing, fishing, rafting, parasailing and numerous other recreational activities. There are more than 80 mi (130 km) of shoreline and 8,240 acres of water to explore. Along the edges of the lake are numerous public parks, camping areas, scenic opportunities and boat ramps. A swimming beach is located on the north shore of the lake near Hancock.

    Comal River
    Texas' shortest river, the Comal River is found entirely in the city of New Braunfels. It is a popular year-round floating destination for inner tubing, as it boasts a temperature of approximately 72F (22C) throughout the year. In total the Comal runs for 2.5 mi (4 km) and is a tributary of the Guadalupe River.
