Historic Downtown Seguin
Historic Downtown Seguin is centered around the town square (bordered by Austin, River, Donegan and Nolte streets). Inside are several historical markers, a resorted fountain and a stature of Juan N. Seguin, who the town was named after. Many of the buildings date back to the mid- to late-1800s.

Market Square offers 32 shops at El Mercado, an area patterned after an authentic Mexican market. In addition, there are 80 specialty shops in Farmers Market Plaza. Market Square is also the scene of many Mexican festivals where there are a number of food and beverage booths as well as mariachi music and frequent Mexican dances.
