Telling the historic of New Braunsfels through art, the Historic Outdoor Art Gallery boasts two murals that can be viewed day or night. One is called City of a Prince and details the founding of the city. It is located on West San Antonio Street and Castell Avenue. The second mural, the Ferdinand Lindheimer Mural, was painted in 2001 to mark Ferdinand Lindheimer's 200th birthday. It is found at 165 S. Seguin Avenue.

World's Largest Pecan
Located in front of Seguin's courthouse, the World's Largest Pecan, until the town of Brunswick, Missouri, created a larger nut, weighs in at 1,000 lbs (455 kg). It was erected in 1962 by a local dentist.
